WebPragma combines the efforts of two experienced Web project managers, each bringing a complimentary skill set to the group.

Lenny Santiago brings over 11 years experience in the information services industry. Santiago has been involved in strategic planning, application and database architecture and design, development and deployment.

Santiago worked recently with the Department of Health Services, Berkeley, in the strategic planning, architecture, design and development of various Web-based projects. Prior to that, he served as Chief Technical Officer of Mindbrook, Inc. He was the data architect for 1View Network, a financial services startup that was acquired by Digital Insight in 2001. At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Santiago acted as the principal consultant on a project to design and implement an inventory workflow system. He has also been a consultant with KPMG as a data architect for a full-fleet management system for Genstar. In India, he was a consultant for clients like Citibank N.A. and AT&T Istel.

Santiago received a bachelor’s and a master’s in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, India. A sports fan at heart, he plays cricket and is a voracious reader.

Gil Kasparek brings over 13 years of experience as a Web developer, online production manager, and graphic designer. While specializing in interface design and information architecture, he also brings writing, editing, pre-press, publishing and multimedia skills to the team.

Kasparek's clients have included global advertising agencies, Silicon Valley startups, online financial services companies, computer hardware manufacturers, software development companies, magazines and newspapers. Most recently, Kasparek has developed corporate marketing applications for a variety of Bay Area companies including NetContinuum, Inc., and Digital Fountain, Inc. In 2001, Kasparek led the front-end development team for 1View Network, a successful startup that was acquired by Digital Insight for $63 million. Before that he developed online services for workflow innovator Action Technologies, Inc. Kasparek has also worked on projects for Macromedia, Novell, Baan, Clorox, MaxForce, Cohn & Wells, Young & Rubicam, WageWorks, and other bay area and international companies.

Kasparek received a bachelor's in English from Virginia Tech, and a master's in Liberal Education from St. John’s College (Santa Fe, NM). His hobbies include camping, hiking, skiing (water and snow, depending on availability), and baseball.
